Tommy outmaneuvers Franklin as he and Eileen struggle to keep up the appearance of a happy marriage. Michael tries to reclaim his territory with Freddie and asks Declan to investigate the source of his head injury. Declan spirals out of control as he finds himself shut out at work and at home.

Tommy’s troubled marriage and Michael’s reputation haunt the reelection campaign. An estranged Irish cousin returns to the Caffee household. Michael and Moe team up for a truck heist while Declan and Cassie have dinner with Cassie’s parents.

Colin helps Michael and Eileen cope with the unexpected death of a friend while Freddie tries to avoid a war with the Italians. Franklin sees opportunity in Declan’s path of self-destructive. As tension builds at home with Eileen, Tommy helps smooth things over with Speaker Donatello’s mistress.

Michael throws a wrench in Tommy’s big real estate deal. Freddie asks Declan to use the police badge to negotiate with the competition. Eileen and Kath Perry find some common ground as they try to cover up Mary Rose’s delinquent behavior. Tommy and Dana Chase see more of each other.

Tommy struggles to keep his life and career on track when he suddenly finds himself without his usual support network. Michael considers a significant lifestyle change while Colin tries to find his father. Freddie asks Declan to track down an errant business associate.

Michael maneuvers for power as he and Kath prepare for an addition to the family. Tommy tries to clean up a bad neighborhood on The Hill. Eileen gains some perspective from the wives of other local politicians as Rose struggles with the realities of getting older.

Election day. When Tommy’s political enemies pull out the big guns to block his re-election, the whole Caffee clan rises to his defense. Michael’s day takes a disturbing turn when Nozzoli asks him to drive an out-of-town contractor to a job. Colin escorts Kath to a local clinic.

Tommy and Colin try to cope with Judd’s decline. With Michael feeding Franklin information to keep Freddie in jail, Declan tries to clear his conscience of the dirty dealings around him. Eileen volunteers to help Mary Kate at the Social Services office.

A truly Caffee Thanksgiving. Rose walks out on her family Thanksgiving morning, leaving the younger generations to pull the holiday together on their own. Freddie and Marty Trio are allowed a holiday furlough in exchange for information.

Freddie asks Nozzoli to kill Michael while Franklin investigates the outcome of the holiday furlough. Tommy makes a bid for the Speaker’s chair. The death of a loved one brings Colin and Rose closer. Eileen finally puts her foot down when Dana Chase calls the Caffee House.
