Manning the machine was a jealous internal affairs inspector who lost his woman to the commissioner. Across town in Queens, Danny Messer and Aiden Burn investigate the murder of a gypsy cab driver, who travels in neighborhoods where others fear to tread. Uptown and downtown intersect on a college campus, when the CSI: New York team track the drugs back to a sheltered college girl who found the drugs in a purse purchased from a street vendor.
